Totran Transportation Services proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of growth, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the industries we serve. What began in 2005 as a vision of Robert Miller’s became a reality when Rob and Scott Trousdale got the wheels rolling in 2006 and Totran has grown from a two-person operation into a thriving transportation company with more than 120 employees.

Starting without a single truck, Totran built its asset-based fleet from the ground up. Today, the company operates over 100 trucks and more than 500 trailers. This remarkable transformation reflects not only strategic leadership and smart decision-making, but also the dedication and hard work of the team who helped turn humble beginnings into a strong and respected presence in the transportation industry.

From day one, Totran was built on the principles of honesty, integrity, safety and hard work. This Family Day, we’re proud to highlight Rodney Young from our Heavy Haul Team. As a Heavy Haul driver with nine years at Totran, Rodney says his favorite part of the job is driving and being part of executing challenging loads. He’s most proud of how he has grown over the years, both as a driver and as a person. When he’s behind the wheel, his playlist depends on his mood, featuring artists like Alice in Chains, Creed, and Shinedown. One of his favorite routes is driving through Sequim, Washington—coming up over the crest to see nothing but water and mountain views. We are greatly appreciative of our drivers/ field teams and the long hours/ days and weeks that they spend on the road away from their families.
