This Family Day, we’re proud to highlight Rodney Young from our Heavy Haul Team. As a Heavy Haul driver with nine years at Totran, Rodney says his favorite part of the job is driving and being part of executing challenging loads. He’s most proud of how he has grown over the years, both as a driver and as a person. When he’s behind the wheel, his playlist depends on his mood, featuring artists like Alice in Chains, Creed, and Shinedown. One of his favorite routes is driving through Sequim, Washington—coming up over the crest to see nothing but water and mountain views. We are greatly appreciative of our drivers/ field teams and the long hours/ days and weeks that they spend on the road away from their families.
